Scientists Have Created a Revolutionary Artificial Skin via WorldEconomicForum

Researchers from the National University of Singapore have developed an ‘electronic skin’, capable of recreating a sense of touch thanks to more than 100 small sensors.

They hope the technology can be applied to prosthetic limbs, allowing users to feel texture, temperature and pain.

Inspiration for the invention came from a Star Wars film.
