Multiparameter Screening and Sales of Biological Resources, the New Development Step for Diva-Expertise

To support the Research, D.I.V.A. Expertise is renewing its offer of multiparameter screening and is developing a business selling of biological resources.

D.I.V.A. Expertise is a French CRO specialized in Applied Research of the Human Adipose Tissue. We aim to support you in the scientific objectivation process of cosmetic products. For this reason, we propose a turnkey R&D concept to accompany you from preclinical studies of screening and characterization on cells and explants models from human skin to clinical trials for efficacy evaluation of your products.Screening allows the selection of the candidate compounds, the characterization of their biological effects, the definition of their potential mechanisms of action and the determination of effective and non-cytotoxic concentrations. This preclinical phase helps to guide the selection of the biomarkers and the target population criteria of the upcoming clinical trial. Thus, our research methodology allows to optimize the success rate of the clinical trial and to reduce R&D time and costs of cosmetic products.

Over the past few months, D.I.V.A. Expertise has been securing its supply network of biological materials and optimizing its protocols and its innovative models on adipocyte biology.

Our operational team is ready to support your research programs on human adipose tissue and your active ingredients screening. We have just launched a new screening campaign. On this occasion, thanks to our ethical and innovative research models, you will be able to evaluate the effects of your compounds of interest in a fast and reliable way. This service enables you to realize a study from one compound, at 3 concentrations, and on 3 biological parameters simultaneously.

To support your internal research programs, we are also developing a business selling of qualified and documented biological resources. Thanks to our surgical network, we collect human cutaneous and adipose tissues anonymously and in the respect of the current regulations and from a large panel of donors. Information on the sex, the age, the body mass index (BMI) and the tissue anatomical area of the donor is provided. Moreover, from one sample of tissue, we are able to prepare different tissue-derived products for your studies in the identification of biomarkers and the characterization of specific phenotypes or populations.

These biological resources are ready to use and are divided into 4 categories:

– Vials of human cells from dermis (fibroblasts) and hypodermis (preadipocytes);
– RNA/proteins extracts of human adipose tissue or cells from different skin layers (fibroblasts, mature adipocytes, differentiated or not differentiated preadipocytes …);
– Sections of human adipose tissue and whole skin;
– Secretion media of adipose tissue explants. Histological section of a whole skin.
